Woods
Almost all of the products from the Products page may be ordered in any of the following woods. Keep in mind that there will be variations in wood grain, color and patterns as no two pieces of wood are ever exactly alike. We have listed the region of origin for each type of wood along with its projected availability. Contact us in advance for those woods listed as limited.

Customers occasionally supply their own wood from a treasured tree lost in a storm, a branch from a childhood family yard, or in the case of a wood products trade association, from salvaged wood after a forest fire. We can make a pen from practically any wood source as long as it is aged and dry. Keep in mind that grain that is attractive in a large piece of furniture may be very bland in a small pen.
